Everything you need to install Haggler, understand the recovery loop, and manage your plan. Can't find it here? Contact support.

Getting started

Install Haggler and go live in a couple of clicks.

How do I install Haggler?

Find Haggler on the Shopify App Store and approve the install from Shopify. You land on the Free plan straight away, no credit card needed.

What permissions does Haggler need, and why?

Haggler reads abandoned checkouts, carts, products, and customer contact details so it can send the right recovery micro-mail and route replies. Scopes are shown on the install grant screen before you approve.

Do I need to configure anything before it works?

No. Once installed, Haggler starts watching for abandoned checkouts. You can tune timing and messaging in Settings, but the defaults are sensible out of the box.

How the recovery loop works

Ask why they left, route the reply, close with the right fix.

What does Haggler actually send customers?

A short, plain-text micro-mail that asks why they paused, no logos, no big discount button. It reads like a personal note, which is what gets replies.

What happens when a customer replies?

The reply is routed by reason: price, shipping, or sizing. Haggler then responds with the right fix, such as a shipping-threshold nudge, a size guide, or a price match, rather than a blanket discount.

What if a customer never replies?

A configurable fallback can send a static discount to non-responders after a set window, so a silent customer still gets a nudge without you doing anything.

Does Haggler replace Klaviyo or my other email tools?

No. It runs alongside tools like Klaviyo, Rejoiner, and Attentive. Haggler focuses on the ask-then-negotiate recovery loop, so it complements broadcast and flow tools rather than competing with them.

Plans & billing

Simple monthly pricing, billed through Shopify.

What counts as a conversation?

One recovery thread with a customer: the micro-mail we send plus their replies. Your plan's monthly limit is how many new threads we can start each billing cycle; replies within a thread don't count again.

What happens if I hit my plan limit?

New recovery threads pause until your next billing cycle resets the count. We never charge surprise overages. If you're regularly at the ceiling, it's time to move up a tier.

How is billing handled?

Through Shopify, so charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice. You can change or cancel your plan anytime from Plans & Billing inside the app; upgrades take effect immediately and cancellations revert you to Free.

Troubleshooting

Common issues and how to resolve them.

Emails aren't sending. What should I check?

Confirm the app is installed and active in your Shopify admin, that your sending domain is verified, and that you haven't hit your plan's monthly conversation limit. If it still isn't working, contact support.

A customer says they didn't get the email.

Recovery mail can land in spam or promotions. Ask the customer to check those folders. Deliverability improves once your sending domain is fully verified.
